Just a few weeks ago, we opened our borders to a lot of countries, following the dramatic decrease in COVID-19 cases most parts of the world, including the Philippines. Finally, we can all move around once more and see friends and families we missed so dearly during the almost 2-year lockdowns.
Well, we spoke too soon.
As a new variant, Omicron, made itself known to the public last month (November), we are now once again compelled to restrict certain countries that are currently registering growing number of the Omicron cases in their territories. Here is the list released by Malacanang:
