Bonjour. Mabuhay.
If you were not able to get your passport processed yesterday, September 27, 2011, don’t worry. The DFA has announced a re-sched for your appointment. Read below:
THE Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) yesterday announced that passport applicants who were unable to file their applications due to heavy rains brought by typhoon “Pedring” will be scheduled on a different date.
“In view of the continuing inclement weather brought about by heavy rains and strong winds, the DFA-OCA is suspending its passport and other consular operations today, September 27,” the office said.
Passport applicants scheduled yesterday who were/or are unable to file their applications may come any day until October 7 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In another development, the U.S. Embassy in Manila was closed to the public yesterday and will still not open today due to the heavy rains brought by the typhoon.
You can call the DFA Passport Appointment hotline at (02)737-1000 from 8am to 5pm.
