As digital payments continue to gain momentum in our country, more and more people choose to activate their e-wallets and use their e-cash to pay for their purchases. Whether buying online or over the counter, consumers are now given various cashless payment options to promote safety and convenience under the new normal of shopping and purchasing our essential needs.
One of the fastest growing digital payment option is ShopeePay. Yes! That mobile wallet attached to the Shopee app that we all love can now be used to pay for other essentials, not just for items we buy from Shopee. How cool is that?
I am a huge fan of Shopee because it makes online shopping (or app shopping) so much simpler and faster for people like me who are not very fond of exploring mobile apps (forty-something here, hehe!). The homepage layout is easy to understand and follow and all the things I need and want to know about my account are readily available when I launch the app. I also recently discovered ShopeePay and how when I pay for my purchases using the money in my wallet, I almost always get free shipping and cashback rewards!
I have also been using ShopeePay to pay for my utility bills, load my prepaid mobile phone with credits, pay for my credit cards and life insurance plans.
So imagine my joy when I found out that I can now also pay for my orders at PSAHelpline.ph using ShopeePay! I tried it today and am truly impressed by how easy and simple it is because I do not need to list down the reference number of my order to make a payment. I need only to scan the QR code that PSAHelpline generates after I finalize my order.
To show you how simple it is to pay for your PSA birth certificate (and all other PSA certificates you order online) order, just follow these steps. Please take note that the following is based on my personal experience placing an order on PSAHelpline’s website using my laptop. The experience may be slightly different if you access PSAHelpline using your mobile phone where your Shopee app is also installed.
- Place your order on the PSAHelpline.ph website by clicking the Order Now button on the homepage. Provide all the information needed to place and finalize your order.
- When you get to the Payment Options page, choose ShopeePay.
- The system will generate a QR code unique to your order, as shown below. Note that your order reference number is also visible on top of the QR code.
4. Launch your Shopee app and tap on the scan icon on the left side of your mobile screen as shown below:
This will open your phone’s camera. Aim the camera on the QR code and you will be taken directly to the payment page showing the amount you need to pay. If you ordered a birth certificate, marriage certificate, and death certificate, the rate is Php 365.00. If you ordered a Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR), the rate is Php 420.00.
5. Click on Pay Now and key in your ShopeePay PIN to complete your payment.
6. You will receive a payment confirmation when your payment goes through successfully.
Now, all you have to do is wait for your PSA certificate orders to arrive! If your delivery address is within Metro Manila, your documents should arrive in 3 to 4 working days; provincial orders are delivered within 3 to 8 working days.
