The SEC Express System: Making Corporate and Partnership Documents More Accessible to the Public

In August 2014, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) launched the SEC Express System as an alternative means to request for and receive copies of Corporate and Partnership documents. Through this service, the public now has the option to simply order for the copies they need and have it delivered to them, instead of going to the SEC office. This makes the entire process of securing SEC documents more efficient and convenient especially for those that are from far places.

The SEC Express System offers three ways to order for the documents:

a. Online Application

By logging on to, an individual may place an order and pay for it online; the documents will be delivered to his preferred address, anywhere in the Philippines, in three working days. This service is available 24/7.

b. Call Center Facility

Should the requesting party prefer to have an agent assist him with the order, mode of payment, and delivery services, he may call the SEC Express Hotline at 737-8888. Calling this number is free of charge when using a landline within Metro Manila. Calls from mobile phones and landlines outside Metro Manila will have corresponding charges. The hotline is available from 8am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays.

c. By Appointment

The hotline facility also accepts requests for appointment to visit the SEC office and pick up the documents. The request will be processed and the documents would be made available and ready for pick up by the requesting party.

The SEC Express System is authorized to process orders and deliveries for the following documents, in its plain and authenticated forms:

  1. Articles of Incorporation/Partnership (original and amended)
  2. By-laws (original and amended)
  3. General Information Sheet (GIS)
  4. Application for Increase/Decrease of Capital Stock
  5. Resolution (Minutes)
  6. Secretary’s Certificate
  7. Board Resolution
  8. Registration Data Sheet
  9. Other company-related documents

This service is made possible through the SEC’s accredited independent third party service provider, Pilipinas Teleserv, Inc. All documents for delivery made through the Online and Hotline facilities will have additional charges and courier fees, while documents acquired directly from the SEC through Appointment Setting, will only be charged the regular document rates.
