Magandang araw po, nagpa renew kami ng passport sa legazpi, kasi wala sched na maaga dito sa manila, ang release na nakalagay sa lbc ay sept 11, and delivery ay october 3, possible ba na kunin na lang namin sa aseana ung passport? Kasi dun manggagaling ang passport?
Makipag coordinate kayo sa DFA Legazpi kung pwede. Pero yung resibo mo ng DFA dapat nasa iyo.
Hello po mc ask kulang po bakit kaya wala pa ung passport ko 😟 oct 19 ang released date nya at ang sabi sakin sa dfa makukuha ko sya ng oct 21 pina rush ko po sya kasi may flight ako papuntang hongkong sa nov 10 , bakit po kaya nadelay diba po ung door to door receipt ng lbc is yellow? It depends on how fast the DFA Tugegarao process your passport delivery depends on the release of your passport.

Kung may mga dokumento ka na magpapakita na kailangan mo na yung passport mo baka payagan ka nila kahit walang appointment. Depende pa din yan sa evaluation. nila.

good am, nag apply po ako passport nung feb 18, 2016 express po inaplyan ko pero till now wala pa po march 7 or 8 ko po dapat makuha yun through LBC. ayaw naman sumagot nang DFA Tuguegarao thanks.

I’m a senior citizen applied for a passport last Jan. 29, to be release on Feb. 10. To facilitate the delivery, I paid 150php to LBC off. inside the DFA. The LBC off. notify thru text that a prob. in the releasing of my cause a delay. Last Thursday I found out that that may passport was pick up earlier this week but until now it has not been deliver by LBC. Since it’s a priority mail, kindly do action about this prob.
Have you called the follow up number in the receipt that you had?

Depende sa edad ng bata. Senior naman walang problema basta may I.D.

I month ng delay from the releasing date. Sobra ng tagal yun kausapin mo na yung supervisor nila kasi sobra ng delay yan.

You mean from the date of release of your passport it’s been 2 days delayed? The receipt that you have does it has a contact number where you can follow up the status of your passport? There is a delay in the production of passport in the main office resulting to late release of passports.

Di po nadeliver yung passport ko, sabi ng LBC, dapat daw po tumawag ako sa DFAMPC para maendorse for delivery ulit yung passport ko then pwede ko na pick upin na lang sa nearest LBC branch. But unfortunately, ang hirap macontact ng DFAMPC. I intend to go there personally na lang para dun ko kunin passport ko. Alam nyo po ba san office nila? Thanks.

Dapat puntahan mo na sa DFA yan sobrang tagal na yan. Either super delayed or may concern sa passport mo and you need to clarify some things.

Bukod sa landline may iba pa bang contact number ang DFA? Yung sakin po kasi nareceive ko na, kahapon ang release then kaninang umaga nadeliver through LBC. Then yung sa friend ko kahapon din release then hanggang ngayon wala pa din. Pero ang courier niya is Air21. Tapos nung chineck namin sa site nila yung tracking number hindi available. gud day po! im from oriental mindoro…i renewed my sons passport and mine last december 21, 2012 in DFA Robinsons Place Lipa and the releasing date was January 24, 2013..i had paid LBC for the courier of our passport.. on january 25, 2013 only mine arrived. until now my son’s passport still not delivered and i’ve been contacting LBC for a couple of days until now to know the status of the delivery but they said that there is still no records found on their system and maybe it is not yet release by the DFA.. master, what should i do? can u help me with this matter?

I had my passport processed for express processing and delivery last Dec 11. I waited 11 days for the passport to appear on LBC’s tracking system (Dec 26). On the 27th it said it was “out for delivery” but I didn’t receive it. 28th was the same. And today (29th) I saw they changed the logs of the tracking number and said that they could not deliver the passport because of incomplete address on the 27th and 28th. So I called up LBC and they verified that they had the correct address and they needed to escalate it to god knows where. They said that the delivery man may have possibly missed our home and I was like, “but I’ve been using LBC before and I they didn’t have any problems with the address!” To cut the long story short, they had the correct address all along but they still could not deliver it and will try on the 31st.
Do you know if I could just claim the passport in Megamall (the place where I applied) with just the LBC receipt?

My sons passport and mine were suppossed to be delivered last Dec 6. Only mine arrived and had to deal with LBC as tracking number in my receipt was not readable. Lesson learned: Check the print out and ask where the tracking number is.
Now after 2 days, LBC confirms its not yet with them. Its frustrating that I paid premium 7 days only to not get the passport. Based on the info here, I need to go to DFA ASEANA now to get it. I tried calling the hotline and true enough, no ones does answer. For the past 2 mornings I start calling by 7:58 am. By 8:15am its still the same message that they are open from 8 to 5 blah blah By 8:19 I call then still the same, 8:20 all operators are now busy. WTF This happened 2 days in a row and as of this time of typing, still have DFA landline ringing.

Medyo mahirap kasi bayad na at naka pila na sa processign ang passport mo.
Pwede mo subukan, bumalik sa DFA dala ang resibo at mag dagdag ng bayad. Pero baka lang hindi na pumayag.
nabasa ko mga message ng iba at pareho rin sa concern ko, sabay kami nag apply ng passport ng 2 yr old son ko, july 23 ang release. July 20 nagtxt ang tel PPT LBC, July 21 na receive ko ang passport ko, pero wala yung sa anak ko, ang sabi nung nag deliver baka nag kaiba ng batch “daw” . hanggang ngayong wala parin ang passport ng anak ko. posible kaya nagkaroon ng problema ang aplication ng anak ko? kasi na delay ang picture nya dahil nag tantrums sya ng oras na yun at hindi masyadong focus ang shot sa kanya, pero kita naman ang dalwang tenga nya. worried lang ako, kasi malaking abala sa trabaho ko at pamasahe kung luluwas pa ako, at kung uulitin ang application ng anak ko.
Hintayin mo muna ng isang linggo. Baka nga na delay lang ang release. Kung wala pa after a week, mas maganda na puntahan mo na sa DFA sa releasing section para malaman kung may problem nga sa picture.
wag na kayong magpadeliver ng passport thru LBC. sobrang delay sila sa pagdeliver. almost one week na ako naghihintay, pina rush processing ko na yung passport ko para within 7 working days, nasa akin na ang passport ko. pero in the end, maghihintay pa ako ng almost 1 week para sa delay ng buwkanang inang LBC yan. kaya beware, wag nyong piliin ang LBC sa pagpadeliver ng passport, kung ayaw nyong mabuwiset sa paghihintay ng passport nyo!!!

Pag ba almost a year pa bago mag expired puede na bang i renew ang passport. para kasi sa abroad for work ng hindi na sa abroad mag renew kasi doon aabutin ng expiration? Kung puede magrenew anong mangyayari sa passport ko na hindi pa naman expire? bubutasan na ba kaagad sa pagaaply pa lang o pag na receceive ko na ang bagong passport? ang balak ko kasi ipapadeliver na lang? puede pa bang gamitin passport ko hanggat di pa dumadating ang new passport? baka kasi madelay ng matagal? salamat po.
Kelan ka ba aalis? Pwede na mag renew nyan, kaso bubutasan yan when you apply. Kung sabit sabit ang schedule mo, sa Embassy ka na lang mag renew sa abroad.

sa monday po yung appointment ko July 9 8am..ask ko lang po kung ok lang ba na yung sa application form ko eh may onting mali sa address ko? kasi po sa website kinumpleto ko po yung address ko dun sa “COMPLETE ADDRESS” (linagay ko pati city/province) then sa baba ng complete address meron nmang “CITY” and “PROVINCE”..so naglagay din po ako dun..then after po nun at natapos ko na lahat pagkaprint ko napansin ko na dumoble ung address ko.. naging bacoor cavite, bacoor cavite cavite ung last part ng addres ko.. palagay nyo po ba ok lang yun?

Medyo alanganin lang ang timing, walang space para sa pagkakamali. Sana hindi mo na lang pinadeliver at binalikan mo ng June 29 para sigurado ka na alam mo ang status.

Sadly walang refund yang mga yan. Pwede mo hintayin muna ng hanggang one week. Baka delayed ang release. If you can’t wait that long, you can try going to DFA releasing section. Problema baka in transit na (for delivery) when you go there.
If wala pa after a week, puntahan mo na regardless.

hello, myself together with my daughter applied for renewal (myself) and new (daughter) last may 08, 2012. As per receipt, it will be release by May 17, but due that i chose to be delivered (RUSH), it will be received by May 18, 2012.
My daughter’s passport was delivered on time, but mine was not. Until now i’ll keep on follow up sa LBC (tracking number), they said that there are no docs (passport) forwarded yet by DFA. I called some customer rep (DFA HOTLINE), and they advised na meron DAW DELAY sa printing sa BSP, almost 1 week ng delay ang passport ko and i can’t start to process my contract not unless i have my passport with me, pakiadvise naman what to do. tks.
Aice, pinaka magandang advise ko is for you to go to the DFA releasing section and inquire personally about your passport. Get an explanation face to face since sobrang delayed na naman yan. I’m sure if you insist, may positive na mangyayari sa demand mo to get your delayed passport 🙂

Yes. Claim it agad para nandoon pa rin sa DFA ang passport mo. After a month or so kasi nililipat na ng storage ang unclaimed passports. You can claim it anytime anyday.

I have applied the renewal of my passport through DFA-Cagayan de Oro last May 9, 2012 and was scheduled for release as express processing on May 23, 2012 . Today, is my 3rd day of my follow-up of the status, since i presumed it would take 7 to 10 days from the date of my application will be the time of released. If the date of release in your receipt is May 23, 2012, then you can safely claim your passport at the DFA by May 24. Have you done this and have the DFA said that your passport is not available yet? Have you gone there personally or inquired by phone? Insist on your right at the releasing section.

Donna, minsan may delay talaga. Hintayin mo muna hanggang Thursday this week. I’m sure nahiwalay lang ng batch yung sa anak mo kumpara sa naunang mga passports nyo. 🙂 Pagwala pa ng Thurs, saka ka magdecide lumuwas, pero lumuwas ka ng Monday April 30 para mahaba yung waiting period mo sa delivery. Marcos, The releasing date for my passport was on march 28.. i chose to pay the express counting after 7 days because i need it as soon as possible but why is it until now..its already april 18 almost a month of waiting. And please dont suggest to me to go at dfa pasay because it cost to much to me.. The time i went their was to pick up my mom so i just took the opportunity. Glen, I’m sorry pero blogger ako ang I dont work for the DFA. If the delay is that long, then most probably may problem ang passport mo. Kasi hindi naman aabot yan ng ganyan katagal ma release kung walang problem. Your best option for now is to call DFA and connect to releasing section. Ur next best option is to wait. The 3rd best option is to go to DFA and inquire personally para malaman mo kung may kailangan pa sila from you to process the passport or why is it delayed for so long.

Christy, mas sigurado kung pupunta ka ng DFA para itanong sa releasing section dahil baka may issue pa na dapat ayusin. Either delayed lang yan or may issue nga. Kung gusto mo ng mabilis na sagot, the best bet is to go there and check it out yourself

i was living at Island, Hard to travel at this moment and also this is the last day of the week. My passport due date release was yesterday Feb 23, i called to LBC at DFAMPC at lucena but they told me my name was still negative at their list, i called at the hotline of DFA but it make me pissed coz i called for many hours and lost all my load but it s only ringing. Carmela, try waiting for another 2-3 days. If by then your passport is still not there, your best choice is to go to DFA ASEANA and ask for your passport.

Dhadhda, sa main lang ang appiontment. Ang RCO either walk in or may sarili silang sched na binibigay. Either may website sila (malabo) or walk-in ka to apply or get your appointment sched with them. Yung appointment sched mo para sa main yan sa DFA ASEANA

I thought na mas madali, save money and time kaya pinadeliver ko ang passport through courier, kasi kailangan ko na po ang aking passport to process my papers for a visa application. Jolly, wait for it until Monday. Baka na delay lang ng konti sa release or sa pag deliver. If after Monday wala pa rin, mas maganda na puntahan mo sa Tuesday sa DFA and go to the courier para ma insist mo na ibigay sa iyo.

Jade, since delivery yan, mga today or Dec 1 or 2 ang dating nyan. Depende sa courier. You can’t pick it up kasi tuloy ang release nyan sa courier na pinili mo.

Marianinah, yes ang appointment online is for DFA Manila. However, I’m not sure if Pampanga employs their own appointment scheduling. If so, pagdating mo dun, they will either accept you on that day or issue an appointment slip to you for you to return on a scheduled date.

JM, dapat puntahan mo na yan personally. Sa DF ASEANA ba? Go there show the guard your delivery receipt and go to the courier area para mag follow up. Dapat malaman mo ang status. YOu can also check status by going to the Releasing section and checking ur name and passport.

I did apply for the mobile passport system in Makati City just last saturday (12 Nov). The following Monday (14 Nov), I was informed that I will be attending a seminar in Bangladesh, thus, having the need to expedite the release of my passport. Working for a government office, I did send a letter to Asec Ledda and Mr. Duke Villanueva (Passport Division) stating the reasons for such request, with the invitation letters and the programme as the attachments, having one of our bosses as the signatory.
What’s the assurance that my passport will be released ASAP? I will have to go through the visa processing, which will entail 3 days the least. The seminar is on 24-30 November, and with the time constraints, I am quite worried if I could make it on time. The organizers have already purchased my airfare ticket, and they’re just asking for a scanned copy of my passport.

Annrou, it would be best if you did it personally at the Director’s Office at the DFA. Bring all docs and explain there, it might get processed asap on the day itself.

Try getting an endorsement letter from your boss and go to the DFA again. Indicate the dates that you need to process this and wait until you get a result on the same day itself. Dapat you insist that they give an answer now dahil next week na ang lakad mo. If they say hindi kaya dapat sabihin na nila sayo na hindi nila kaya. Personally being there gives you a better chance than waiting for them to call you. Puntahan mo ulit.

Call your courier to check. Kung wala silang sagot try calling DFA, (02) 556-0000 or 834-4000, baka may needed info to confirm. O kaya baka na delay lang.
hi master! ask ko lang po kasi ung brother ko need po ng passport urgent as in urgent but wala po siya any valid id. by next month na po ung alis nya for work. biglaan po ih. paano po ba un, ano po ba maganda gawin. out of school na rin po siya, may driver’s license but expired na po kapag naman po irerenew ibabalik lang po daw as student license eh tatanggapin po ba un sa dfa? wala pa din po siya voter’s as per comelec batch 2007 eh wala pa po daw released na ids. kapag naman po kumuha kami ng ibang id it will take month/s bago marelease.. ung postal naman po di inaaccept sa dfa.. master sana po mabigyan nyo kami ng advice regarding this. ano pa po ang pwede namin gawin.. thank you =(

Margie, if pending section ibig sabihin may problem sa mga details. Kailangan mo puntahan ito personally sa passport division director’s office to find out what they need to confirm.

Tama yung mga ipapadala mong mga dokumento para ma release ng mother mo yung passport. Wag lang kalimutan ni mother na magdala ng sarili nyang I.D.

Zanbince, hindi na mapapalitan yung regular processing na kinuha mo dahil final na yun when you chose. Kung urgent talaga, try mo magpunta sa Passport Director’s office sa DFA and request for it, kailangan magpakita ka ng proof of urgency. Subject to review approval nga lang yan

CIndy, bakit daw may clearance from Manila? Baka ang ibig nila sabihin, hinihintay na lang ipadala from Manila. Kelan ba ang release date na naka lagay sa resibo ninyo, most of the time sinusunod ito unless nga may special request kayo, kaya lang maghihintay tayo ng abiso ng Manila office kung nakita nga nila ito at na aprove. Pero kung pasok naman ang release date sa paglalakad ninyo ng papeles, at wala namang problema ang applciation ni mister, don’t worry, dadating yan sa release date. Let’s hope na mas maaga nila magawa. Wala na kasi ibang paraan para mapabilis yan aside sa nagawa na ninyo 🙂
Hello Master, Nasa kanila na daw po yung passport, everytime mag folow-up ako , ang sinasabi nila, clearance from manila nalang daw po ang kulang to have it released early… nag email na po kami ng request, inia attached din po namin dun sa application ang mga request from employer at ng asawa ko, pati job offer po, ewan ko kung how long will they be able to send clearance to cebu to have it early released…nakaka frustrate na po 😦

Lorie, bakit frequent renewal? Natural lang na i-check yun kasi kaduda duda ang palaging pag renew ng passport lalo na kung 5 years naman ang validity nito.

Malisbo, since nasulatan, that will be considered a mutilated passport. Para hassle free and paggamit, mas maganda kung kumuha ka na lang ng bago. Mapalit na rin naman ang isang taon na expiration mo. Saka hindi ka nagmamadali so mas maganda yan. Anong kulay ba passport mo? E-passport na ba yan? Bago na ang passport, baka kailangan mo na rin ng bagong version.

Releasing kasi nung sakin ay September 7. Badly needing it to get my visa. Arvi, sometimes may delay kasi may problem sa production, pero kung tama ang balita na normal na daw ang operations ng DFA, I’m pretty sure 90% of the time on sched na ang releases and hopefully ang delivery. 🙂

hi i applied a family appointment for passport last aug.9 and the releasing date that dfa gave me is on aug.23 and this is for pick up. Do you think that pick up is a better option than delivery? and when the dfa gave a releasing date for pick up, is it really sure that i can get my passport on that said date? thank you very much
Jec, since you already chose the pick up date of Aug 23, then by all means go and pick up your passport on the mentioned date. You can’t opt for delivery by now so there is no reason to compare. Hopefully, DFA can honor its commitment on the mentioned date.

Nevs, normally, when DFa says this is the release date, they are obliged to honor it. If you want to make sure, give it a week after the release date kung hindi ka naman nagmamadali.

SInce you opted for pick up, you have to go there yourself and claim your passport. Ito lang po ang option nya sa ngayon. Maliban na lamang po kung babalik kaya sa DFA at ibibigay ang reciept nyo at mag avail ng delivery service. Kaso balik balik ka naman pag ganun.

Jammy, most of the time relative lang pwede, yung parents or kapatid lang. You can try if your friend doesn’t have the time. Kung hindi pwede, then your friend should make time. Pero kung nagmamadali yung friend mo, mas sure kung personal na siya na ang kumuha.
Hi, we’ve been waiting so long for my cousin’s passport, the release date was on july 25, 2011 but until now we haven’t received it yet… and we paid it for 1,200 (overtime). Now, I’ve been trying to contact the given contact numbers or DFA manila, but we couldn’t reach them. We’re supposed to fly after we receive the passport (but only for TOUR, idk if DFA will hear us if it’s only for tour) but we wanted to visit our family abroad and come home before our classes starts this october. Jendenise, if it is delayed for that long a time, your best option is to go personally to the DFA releasing section and inquire (actually ask forcefully) for your passport release. If you had it delivered via courier, have a courier representative go down to you at the releasing area and find your passport or at least give you outright information. When you go to the DFA, just tell the guard that you are going to the releasing section.

Fatima, you should go to DFA na (I’m assuming that you applied at ASEANA). Go to the releasing section, show your delivery receipt and inquire about your passport. If you are there, chances are they would have an explanation for you or your courier would have to explain it directly to you. That is already too much of a time for you to wait.
good pm master, alomost two months na po wala pa rin po ung passport ko.. i thot that wer going to have the convenience para makuha ung passport thru delivery but mukhang mas matagal pa po ata don.. almost everyday na po ako tumtawag sa LBC numbers as well as sa dfa kaso po both of them were always busy..ni di na po ako nakacontact.. i wanna know po ano na status ng passport ko.. di ko po alam if ano pang numbers ang pwede tawagan na possible na available.. ano pa po ba ways to know the status.. gusto ko na rin po sana pumunta ng dfa just to know but baka naman po di ako papasukin ng guard since wala po ako expected na appointment don.. hope you can help me with this..thank you!

Ryan, when you go to the DFA, go first to your courier and ask them to assist you sa releasing section. Kung hindi mo sila makita, go to the releasing section and ask them how you can claim your passport since you have requested it via WWW courier, they should be able to point you to them.

Having to read this post is really a big help to those having problems with the delays in their passport both releasing and deliver. As for my observation, I haven’t experience delays in my passport releasing or deliver. DFA sms me on July 15 which is also my release date that my passport is ready. After two days, my passport came from Air21 and that’s it. Hassle free or maybe I’m just lucky. 🙂

Zshareeze, if you are in a big rush to have your passport, I suggets that you try going to the DFA releasing section para ma check mo na agad. If you can afford to wait, give it another week para madeliver sa ito, medyo delayed daw ang releases since the beginning of this month. Sana makuha mo na agad.

Rehnit, you can try going to the DFA releasing section para mas mapadali ang pag check mo kung ano na nga ang nangyari. How long have you been waiting na ba? If matagal na, then your best option is to check it sa DFA mismo and force the hand of your courier.

Bino, if DFA said it is there, go to the DFA releasing section if you can’t wait and need your passport already. If you can afford to wait a week or so, then wait for the courier and baka by then ma-deliver na yan sa iyo
hello i also had my passport delivered. release date was july 12, supposed to me at my doorstep the day after. i didn’t realize it was late until friday. i called LBC but they said it’s still in DFA. i called the DFAMPC hotlines in my receipt but i always get a busy line. when it rang, no one picked up. i was panicking because i have a flight on july 22nd. the weekend came and it was monday again. same thing, i called 5560000 and requested to be connected to releasing. i waitied for 15 minutes of ringing but i eventually gave up. at that time i thought there’s a 90% chance i won’t be able to get my passport.
since i cannot afford to waste my money on my ticket, i went to DFA earlier, arrived by 1pm. there were so many people as usual. i informed the guard to let me in to releasing. i was directed to go to the director’s office. i gave the receipt and it was handed over to someone in the interview section. he called my name and said he’ll check my passport and call me back. by 2:15 he called me back in. i was so happy when i saw my passport. highlight of my month! according to him, it MAY BE that LBC didn’t pick up my passport.it didn’t really matter, i had my passport nonetheless.
lesson learned: if you’re passport delivery is delayed, call your courier. if they say it’s still in DFA, go to DFA. DO NOT CALL the hotlines because that’s just for display and will only irritate you. expect to wait so bring something to make yourself busy. you will eventually get your passport. it’s sad but it’s how it goes. you have to persevere and not just sit at home waiting for more days of delay.

Jolin, give a waiting period of 5 days pa. If you need to, call your courier every time to inquire about the status of your passport. Delayed talaga ang releases ngayon. Kung makuha naman ng courier mo yan, dedeliver agad yan sa iyo.

Jeck, how soon do you need your passport? If you can afford to wait another week, I recommend you wait para hindi sayang ang pagpunta mo sa DFA. If you can’t wait, you can try going there sa releasing section and have LBC search for your passport, though walang guarantee na makikita ito agad. Delayed kasi ang releases ngayon, pero your presence there would put pressure on the DFA and lbc to search and search.
so mostly ay umuwi na wala pa din dala, tpos ang sabi sakin ni sir bong, naout na din ung sakin samantalang nung tanghali lang eh andun pa! so sabi ko hindi ako pwede magwait nlng ng delivery kasi flight ko sa monday. so ung asawa ko naghihintay sa labas ng gate wait namin si sir bong at isasama daw kami sa dfa old bldg kasi dun dinadala ung out for delivery. 9pm kami lumabas ng dfa aseana, kami nlng nga ang tao dun. so pinahintay kami sa may 711, over hr din kami nagwait pero pagbalik nya ala daw dun baka daw naiwan pa nga sa aseana bldg. (susmaryosep naman!) so ang sabi nya nlng, hanapin nya today at inform nya ako pag nahanap na nya. so ayun, this afternoon tinawagan ko sya if nahanap na nya and at long last! at 2pm today nahawakan ko din ang passport ko. this is a lesson learned in a hard way talaga. and to think na hindi na kami nakarefund ng 120 na binayad namin sa kanila! tpos ung sa anak nung lalaki na kasabay namin magwait kahapon, 3months ng delayed, nung itrack eh naout na nung may15 pa. at ayun nawawala sa courier! moral lesson, paglaanan ng oras ang pagclaim ng passport kesa gumastos sa courier para sa convenience pero puro sakit ng ulo lang ang daranasin mo. goodluck sating lahat! thanks master.

good evening master. i would like to share lang my experience. nakuha ko na sa wakas ang passport ko today! yeeey for that. pero bago un, i went there yesterday at 2pm with my receipt from lbc. my passport was due for delivery at july6 pa. when i arrived, i was told to proceed to window 28-29 (releasing). the day before, i received the dfa msge by tracking my passport saying my passport is already available. then the personnel from lbc checked the status on their system and ang sabi eh andun pa nga daw and kadarating lang daw nun. (my god 2weeks na nga delay tapos kadarating lang). anyway i was asked to look for “sir bong” at the elevator and im shocked to see a crowd waiting for him also. as in almost 20 na tao kami dun parepareho ng issue. ung isa pa nga eh 3months delay na, ung isa naman before sunrise andun na. so 2:30pm ako naupo kasama nila waiting for a certain “sir bong” na supervisor ata ng coop nila with partnership sa lbc. 3pm bumaba sya, puro resibo ang dala, ilolocate pa daw. tpos nagrereklamo na lahat, binigay ko din resibo ko para mahanap nya. at 5pm, sa wakas may bumaba ulit na babae naman, 6 lang ang dalang passport, and 4 lang sa mga andun ang nakakuha. and the thing was, hindi ka pwede pumunta sa office nila sila lang ang may access dun! so ang pwede mo lang gawin is to wait to the max at isang katerbang pasensya. at 7pm ulit bumaba, nakakuha ung iba lang ulit madami pa din kami natira kasi nadagdagan pa kami eh. and to make the long story short, most of us there ang sabi eh naout na for delivery (after waiting ng super tagal!) and wait nlng daw sa mga address.
hi, my passport should be release on july ,14. then LBC should be delivery it me at yesterday.. but as of now i still not yet receive it…then call up phone numbers to follow up, but it are busy,if not,nobody answer…….please tell me how to follow up … Thanks..!!
Feng, give it a waiting period of about a week, the passport delays should be made up by then. In the meantime, try calling them to check, but after a week of waiting, you can opt to go to DFA and inquire at the releasing section. I’m assuming you applied in DFA ASEANA.

HELLO… I have received a confirmation from the DFA that my passport was released last JULY 13, 2011.. i have acquired an express delivery from LBC when i applied for it… but when i went to LBC, still my passport is not there…. My receipt (original) is at LBC, they get it when i acquired their delivery…. what i have now is the receipt from LBC for me to get it from the branch i had addressed.
The text that i had received said that i can now get my passport at DFA-OCA releasing center… what should I do??? do i have to go there or wait for the LBC… the date of releasing was greatly delayed… IT was supposed to be delivered to me last JUNE 1, if i hadn’t followed up its status, it would have been much delayed.. hope you reply soon
Joseph, which DFA branch did you apply. If in ASEANA, go there and go to the delivery section. Ask for your passport to be released by showing them the confirmation you received. If they can’t, ask for your DFA receipt and get it at the releasing section.

Gan, wait til Monday. Tawagan mo ulit para mag follow up. If wala pa rin ng Monday and you can do so, go to DFA releasing section on Tuesday to inquire.
If you can afford to wait, you can try waiting til Wed or Thurs next week and then go on Friday kung wala pa rin.

its oh soooo annoying. i have a booked flight on tuesday and i even availed of expedite processing. its supposed to be released last july6 but until now it hasnt arrived. i tried the passport tracking but to no avail, i dont receive a text. i dont know what to do because i also availed of delivery service and my receipt is with my friend who lives in the town as it is addressed to her for im living in an island with no access for couriers. im frustrated hhuhuhuhuhu. what will i do.
Archie, your best chance is to go to the DFA this Friday, bring your tickets and proof of urgency. Go to the passport director’s office to get assistance on this.

Mel, call your courier one more time, kung wala pa rin, go to the passport director’s office of the DFA, present your proof of urgency, flight, etc, etc and ask them to help you get your passport.

Joy, unang una, delayed talaga ang release ngayon. Wag ka pumunta sa LBC branch kasi wala silang magagawa para matulungan ka tungkol dito. I suggest give it 2-3 days, I’m sure by then malamang makarating na yan sa iyo. Advise me if ever.

I have renewed my passport and the release date is July 4. I was advised that it will be delivered to us on July 5 (coz I had it couriered via LBC). I have received my husband and daughter’s passport but mine wasn’t included. How can that be when we have applied for it at the same time and the release dates are the same? I have been trying to call this LBC number for 2wks now and my call just wouldn’t go through. I need your help on this coz I need it ASAP. Kris, your best bet is to go to the DFA releasing section if you are in a hurry. If you can afford to wait, try waiting till Thursday from your courier. Try these courier follow up numbers as well by clicking this blog
master, nakausap ko npo ung tga courier, ang sabi na wala daw s system nila ung name ko. sbi ko may nagtx n skn from DFA that it is already ready. so how come ala dun ung name ko s system. tumawag npo ako sa 2 number ng courier at they gave the same answer.

Vina, walang office pag weekends eh. Try calling your courier (if you had it delivered) on Monday morning after 10am. If wala pa rin, try going to the DFA in the afternoon, sa releasing section. Passports have really been delayed but I’m assuming you already have plane tickets ready, so bring these as well. If wala pa rin sa releasing section, go to the passport director’s office, show ur tickets and ask for assistance on your passport.
Hi. I was trying to google what are the causes of delays in passport deliveries and I found this site with helpful information. I just went this morning to DFA to inquire about my kid’s passport which was due to be delivered on July 6, 2011 since the release date is July 5. The lady guard didn’t let me in as it is a Saturday. I have already made flight reservations, though I haven’t paid the tickets yet. PAL said we’re only given until Tuesday to pay for the plane tickets. We’re scheduled to leave July 14 and I’m now getting frustrated. Do they deliver on weekends? Is it wise to go to DFA again on Monday to follow up? Or should I just make a phone call? Ice, your best option is to go at it on Monday, but first give your courier a call in the morning after 10 am, ask them re the status of your passport. In the afternoon, if all things are still murky, try going to the releasing section at DFA. They really don’t let anyone in on a Saturday at the DFA, unless you have a Saturday appointment. Passport release have really been delayed recently but nominally, given a week it usually gets released.

Charisse, my advise is to wait until Friday or Saturday. Keep askign 2GO kung nakuha na nila. If by Monday wala pa, then go to the DFA releasing area and ask there. One week delay should be enough time para marelease ang passport mo. Delayed talaga ang ibang passports for production reasons.

Ken, if until Friday wala pa rin ang passport mo, go to the releasing section of the DFA on Monday (I’m assuming your trip is around wednesday onwards the following week). If it is delayed, I think your courier can have it delivered as soon as DFA releases it.
Is there a way to get even just the passport number if DFA messaged me on July 4th that the passport is already available ? Seems like 2go’s delivery system uses snail mail as until now theres no status yet,
Espresso, when a passport is ready, it should be released to the courier for delivery. If your courier cannot deliver it yet, it means hindi pa binibigay sa kanila ng DFA. Wait it out a couple of days. I’m sure madadala agad sa iyo yan. It’s easy to say (or text) that your passport is ready pero we really are not sure until we see it in actuality. I suggest patience.

Bernie, tumawag ka sa DFA lucena, kung wala silang appointment schedule, pwede mo na dalhin ang mga anak mo para sabay sabay na kayo. Kasi, one day lang yan, fill up, evaluate, and pix, biometrics, bayad, tapos babalikan sa release. Pwedeng around 2 months nga ang release, mas maaga ka mag apply mas mabilis mo makukuha.
Kung may appointment sched ang DFA Lucena, ikaw na lang muna ang pumunta para makakuha ng mga schedule nyong pamilya.
Nag apply ang pamilya ko ng passport through appointment system kasi maliliit pa yung mga anak namin.. Nagbayad kami ng Rush fee at delivery fee para nga comportable. July 2 ang sinabing delivery ng passport nila, pero nung July 2 yung sa wife ko lang ang dumating, yung sa mga bata wala. Nag inquire kami sa Air 21 at binigay namin yung tracking number para sa passport ng mga bata.. Sabi nila wala pa daw sa kanila.. Bakit nagka ganon eh isang date lang nag apply yung mag iina ko? Yung sa wife ko lang ang dumating? tapos walang maibigay na clear info ang DFA tungkol sa status nung passport ng mga bata. Hi MasterCitizen, would it be possible to go straight to DFA and claim my passport there? Similar to regina, my passport should have been given to my courier (2GO) yesterday, June 29, 2010. I’ve called 2GO and said that they haven’t received my passport yet.

RJ, even if you go to the DFA directly there is no guarantee that your passport will be available. Also, since you have applied for delivery, your passport is tagged for release to your courier so it would take a hard time for releasing to look for it if you go there personally (plus we are not sure if it is really available already). Passport production is delayed, give it a week from now and you should be able to get it delivered to your doorstep.

KC, para d ka mapagod, try calling the DFA first at their hotline, 556-0000 or 8344000 . Kung hindi ka naman nagmamadali, try mo balikan ng July 11 para mas sigurado ka na. Delayed ang passport production kaya backlogged ang release.

Regina, passport release is really delayed because production has been back logged. Try waiting until next Tuesday, maybe by then it would be delivered to you.

I have a flight on June 28, 2011, so if I don’t get my passport before June 28, I could not catch my flight. Melai, I think it is possible, though the refund would be less than what you paid for considering na yung delivery service that you availed have devoted time and manpower to monitor your passport. Try calling them and ask for this possibility early on.

Master citizen, isa po akong OFW, nag renew po ako ng passport ng june 6, 2011 sa DFA LUCENA 950 po binayaran, sabi nila wala na daw rush ngayon, kailangan ko po ang new passport ko ngayong first week ng july para sa visa processing papunta ng saudi arabia. Anaceto, try mo pumunta sa passport director’s office o officer ng DFA Lucena na dala dala ang proof of urgency mo, mga dokumento na nagpapakita na kailangan mo ng passport nang mas maaaga. Sila ang makakatulong sa iyo ukol sa bagay na yan.

Linalyn, you would need to show documents to prove the urgency of your request. Normally they would ask kung may ticket ka na or kung gaano na kahalaga yung lakad mo para mag request ng early release. If you can bring these documents, you bring them to the passport director’s office.

hi, ask ko lng po kng san mas mabilis kaya, dfa batangas or dfa main (aseana)? kc ung appointment ko sa dfa main ay sa july 26 pa + 25 working days. sa dfa bats, walkin anytime + 60 working days daw. both are not 100% sure sa processing time kaya d ko alam kung uuwi ba kme sa bats pa or wait na lng ung appointment date sa dfa main. wala kming problem sa transportation expense, gusto ko lng sana makakuha ng passport the soonest possible time. please feel free to share experiences or opinions on this matter. thanks…
MJJJ, pag compute ko ng araw halos pareho lang. If you apply sa Batangas by June 15, you’re 60th day would be around Aug 15. Sa ASEANA naman, July 26 + 25 days, around Aug 20. Kung release data naman ang iniisip mo, pareho lang lalo na kung delayed ang production nila. If it is delayed, it is delayed for all DFA. But the 25 days and 60 days na waiting time is more than enough to process the passport dapat.

Reynaud, kung maaga mo kailangan dapat meron kang proof of urgency na kailangan mo ng nga passport. Kung wala, you would have to follow the scheduled release date given by the DFA. Ang proof of urgency ay katunayan na kailangan mo ng passport agad tulad ng plane ticket o dahilan na may pupuntahan kang lugar na importante talaga.

Hannah, delayed ang passport production ngayon. Hopefully hindi ka naman nagmamadali sa paggamit ng passport mo. If you need it asap, you can go to the passport director’s office, bring all proof of urgency documents and hopefully matulungan ka nila sa early release.

Gin, try going to the passport director’s office or his equivalent sa DFA Clark. Bring all the documents showing as proof of your urgency. They will explain to you the possibilities regarding your passport.

DFA e passport processing is a big crap….. When the processing gets automated to they call “e Passport”, things went extremely slow…. It affects the travelling plan of the people. I applied march 15,2011 till now not yet released. I would suggest that they don’t have to cancel instead to give extension to the old passport till the new one is released…

thank you. you have definitely lessen the burden I am feeling right now. Seeing him losing hope each day gives me pain in twofold. He is very much willing to help his family and though I don’t want him to go, I can’t be selfish. I just hate the reality that everything seems fine…except this passport. I never stop praying. I am just so disappointed. my husband applied for a passport last march and was given a release date of May 6. Hanggang ngayon wala pa. Yun agency na inapplyan nya, kinukuha na passport niya. I call DFA everyday and they keep on giving me false hope. I asked DFA Batangas again today and this time I am no longer as nice as I was, kung anong papers ang kelangang isubmit para magawa na yun passport ASAP. Wala daw. So meaning, we just have to sit down and wait forever. I am honestly in tears right now kasi he’s already done with all the medical exams and have spents so much for it and for his dental. His father has cancer and he really wants to work abroad to provide them. But I don’t think it will be possible anymore. The Agency calls him like every other day. It was his ninong who processed his employment not until someone else will be hired because it is taking him too long. Everyday, this situation breaks my heart to see him so hopeless each day.
Janna, I’m really saddened by your situation. The passport production is really back logged at the moment. This means maraming applications pero hindi ata kaya ng production machine na magawa yung passport. However, since May 6 pa ang release ng passport mo, it might take about this week or next week and I think dadating na sa Batangas ang passport ng husband mo. Have patience and faith and explain it to the agency na DFA ang may concern sa problem na to. Hope everything turns out well.

Angelo, if they committed to 25 days, yun nga ang kaya nila for express. However, expect that to extend around 30 days, as per experience of other people from various places.

Rose, what did the director’s office advise you when you went there? They should be the one able to help you when you present your proof of urgency documents like ticket, contract, etc
I and my wife applied for our passport last March 30, 2011. Released date as stated on the processing window is May 6, 2011. My wife already got her passport but mine is not yet delivered, I tried calling 2GO but per their status they have not recieved yet the passport. I tried calling DFA numbers 834-4000 and 556-0000, agent will transfer to a certain number but luckily nobody answers the phone. Any other ways to follow up for the status? Help please.
Mark Anthony, try waiting for a week. Probably your passport has been batched separately. If this does not appear by next week, you can try going to DFA and inquire personally at the releasing section. Just show your receipt. You have a better chance at calling 2GO since they would know the daily status of your passport. Just keep calling them for updates from now until next week before you decide to go there yourself.

I just would like to ask if there would be no extension for that date because my flight is on June 28, 2011. Do you think I can get my passport on or before that date? I am so worried.. 😦

Kyx, 40 days from may 2 is June 27. Technically, they would give you a release date well beyond what they can accomplish so dapat safe na ang 40 days. Super tagal na nga nun eh. Try checking on the week of June 21-24 by calling them at 556-0000 or going there to the director’s office just to be sure.

hello to all bakit ganun nag apply ako ng passport sa DFA Batangas last March 19 using the courier LBC Express dapat ang delivery date ay April 27, 2011 pero hanggang ngayon wala pa rin. Ano pwede gawin? I try calling lahat ng hotline pero wala naman sumasagot. Meron pa ba kayo ibang alam na hotline ng LBC express para sa passport? malapit na kasi kami umalis. Sassygirl, you would need to show proof of urgency sa director’s office or sa OIC sa DFA kung bakit papayagang marelease ng maaga ang passport mo. Bring all documents na will show this if you can.

Master, I’m really upset sa DFA coz MAy 5 yung said date ng release sa DFA La union (travel agency ako) and umuwi ung mom ko para sunduin ako from Japan at ipprocess namin ung visa ko na long term w/certificate of eligibility sa japan embassy uuwi n sya bukas di ko pa nakukuha passport ko. What do I do? Red, bring all necessary documents to prove your need for urgency. Dalhin mo sa passport OIC or director’s office sa DFA La Union. Tell them your concern baka mapabilis nila ang pagkuha.

Hi Maryann, the usual cancellation is 8 days before the date, kaya hindi ma process yung request mo. Ok lang yan, if you can’t make it, then no show lang ang status ng request mo. You can always get a new appointment date. kaya lang hindi na natin alam kung makakakuha ka ulit ng maaga 🙂

The length of time given at 35 days, mukhang pasok na yun sa kakayanan ng DFA na mabuo yung passport ng asawa mo. Try mo tawagan from June 1 to 7 to check para makasiguro ka

hello po master, just want to ask if u have any idea of this, a friend said kasi na mas better daw ipa extend muna kay sa ipa renew. dn sa case ko kasi nakapag renew na ako dn im worried na baka ma delayed, is there possible pakaya na mapa extend ko, pero yung problem is na butasan na kasi yung passport ko noong nag renew ako.

MC, ano ba talagang problema ng mga taga DFA ngayon, bakit delayed ang pag release ng mga passport. sino ba talaga dapat managot or sumagot mn lang sa mga ngyayaring delayed.. Maraming flights ang napacanceled dahil sa delayed ng releasing,.
J-ann, I think delayed ang production area ng passports. This means either kulang sa machine or sira ang machines. Production output can’t cope up with the demand at the moment. Additional problem naman yung mga nag papaprocess ng passport tapos hindi binabalikan for release. There are news saying that the DFA holds hundreds of passports ready for release pero hindi naman kinukuha ng mga nagapply. It’s really a mix of both, though concerns like yours are valid and this problem needs to be addressed.

I changed status with my passport last march 24 here in DFA Iloilo. I wanted sana to check if ok na for pick up yung passport but to no avail palagi..walang sumasagot sa phone nila (ive been trying to call them since last week).. Is there any chance i can check on it online?
Kristin, sa tagal ng panahon, more than a month na, probably available na yung passport mo. Kung hindi ka nagmamadali, palipasin mo pa ng 2 linggo para mas sigurado bago mo puntahan ang DFA Iloilo. Walang online access sa kanila and kung meron man, mas ok pa rin kung tatawagan mo sila hindi ba, dahil mas mabilis ang feedback sa tawag. Kung walang sumasagot, your best choice would be to go there. If you can wait, palipas ka muna ng ilang araw para hindi sayang yung punta mo.

Theresa, you can get the passport of your mother. Pwede kasi immediate family member mo sha. Pero sa pamangkin mo, kung minor, sino po ang naka Special Power of Attorney, na authorized to be the guardian. Kung legal age na sha, nanay, tatay o kapatid lamang ng pamangkin mo ang pwedeng kumuha.

Shalac, go to the head of DFA Tuguegarao and show all the documents you have to prove the need for urgency. The DFA head will decide if s/he can help expedite your passport.

Hello. Ano po ba ang possibility na ma appeal ang immediate release ng passport? Kasi we apllied for an expedited passport for my 1 year old son and it is expected to be released last april 19th. until now wala pa rin. the problemis, the whole family has already booked tickets bound for hongkong kasi mag rerenew ng visa. He cannot stay behind. Ano po ba ang pwedeng gawin?
Jayr, try going to DFA Aseana and go to the Passport Director’s Office. Bring all documents that shows proof of urgency. SIla makakatulong dapat sa concern mo na makuha ang passport ng maaga. 🙂

im from tuguegarao and i am planning to renew my passport here at dfa tuguegarao but the problem is the releasing date will be on July 2 (40 working days) because of some technical problem. tanong ko lang kung sa manila kaya ako nag renew nasusunod b ang 15 working days sa rush or ganun din katagal ang pagrerelease nila ng passport.

Illac, here in Manila, you will need to get an appointment schedule pa, if you get one now, mga 25-30 days na waiting ka pa bago makapag appear sa DFA. Tapos yung 15 working days hindi 100% sure as per balita dito. Mga 20 days or more pa, so aabutin ka ng 30+20 = 50 days. Estimate yan based on actual facts here

Shan, when you go personally, tell the guard that you will go to the Passport Director’s office. Bring all proof of urgency, and they will decide if they will expedite your process and request. This is for DFA Aseana location.
renewal po ung passport ko through solomom travel agency here in san pablo laguna. sa dfa lucena po aq nag renew at expidite po un. march 7 aq nag renew den supposed to be april 12 ang released but until now ala p din po. anu b po nid gwin para mlaman q kung bkit ala p din passport q,. mag 2 months n po kc.

Pwede po. Wala pa silang appointment schedule system. Walk in sila dun, basta maaga lang kayo pupunta. Balikan nyo na lang sa release date.

Since technical problem daw, try going to the director’s office of the DFA to request for a faster release. However, you would need to show proof of urgency (documents that show you need the passport asap) in order to force the issue.

Jason, you can try applying at DFA Batangas in Lipa. They have no appointment schedule there and you can just walk in with your application. Make sure you are early. It is in Batangan Plaza in Lipa Batangas.

Hello Lorie, you can follow up at these LBC numbers on the status of your passport. baka in transit na, if not, they should be able to advise you on the situation. There are two LBC providers kasi sa DFA, try the numbers na lang.

Jason, it seems delayed talaga ang production schedule ng passport, from your scheduled release it would probably take a week or so to get your passport. Make plans to advise and adjust your travel sched if you can. Inquire your passport status at the DFA every other day also.

Since the passports are produced in bulk then segregated for each assigned location, there is no way for us to inquire at the main office. However, this is the hotline of DFA main (02)556-0000. Have you tried inquiring at DFA Lucena? They should have a reason for the delay.

Endorsement ng ano exactly? Maybe the agency is telling you that they will endorse you to the company. May bayad yun kasi sila ang magpapadala pero depende sa arrangement ninyo yan ng nag offer sayo. Agency ba sila?
I’m from Cebu City. I processed my passport last February 8, 2011. The date of release is on March 16, 2011. Sabi nang AGENT ko, they will be the one to inform me if my passport is already available. Now, it’s already April 4, 2011 and wala pa yung passport ko. Been calling DFA Cebu many times already but still wala pa yung passport ko. Restless na ako kasi malapit na flight ko. I hope you can help me with my concern.
Ghie, there should be an officer that handles passport release at the DFA there in Cebu. When you called ba sabi ng DFA wala pa passport mo or yung agent mo ang nagsabi na wala? Try going to the DFA personally and go to the releasing area, ask who you can inquire about regarding passports released through travel agencies (i’m assuming when you said agent, you meant travel agency). If there are delays on passport production, they may be able to inform you about the length of delays, if you need your passport soonest, then you can bring up the issue to the DFA passport director there. Passport delivery takes about 1 to 2 days depending on your location. If within Metro Manila that should take about a day after the release date. Outside metro would take an extra day or two at the most.
I applied last Feb.11, 2011 sbi po nung “agent” na nag aayos passport ko wala pa daw at delayed ang mga passports..lampas 1 month na ako naghihintay, i’ll be going abroad for holidays wala pa ung passport..GrrrrHH do you know the hotline to find out whether released na ung passports? thanks

Noemie, pwede ka tumawag sa embassy and inquire about the endorsement. Hindi ko kasi mashadong alam yung tungkol sa endorsement. Mabuti na yung sigurado kang meron ngang endorsement bago ka maglabas ng pera. 🙂

Hi may problem talaga ang machine ng DFA ngayon kaya me delay sa production nila. Kung kailngan na talaga yung passport dalhin nyo yung mga proof of urgency na dokumento para ma request nyo na i prioritize yung passport nya.
